joint venture with Pakistan Telecommunications Company Limited
(PTCL).
From our successful pilot project and feasibility study on
the technology to customize it to
Pakistani needs, TeleCard launched the first commercial WLL
service in Pakistan last year.
The inauguration of the WLL service was held in Karachi on
10th May 2002 where it was an instant winner. The service
has now been expanded in other major cities of Sindh. The
service rollout plan is expected to be completed in the next
9 months, ahead of schedule.
The WLL solution has been a success. TeleCard is proud of
itself to bring this latest technology to Pakistan and aims
to play a prominent role in bringing our nation up to speed
with telecommunication development. We have experienced a
huge growth in a short space of time testament to our commitment
and a reward for our efforts. |
